Hunter Global is a cross cultural communication and leadership advisory working with individuals, teams, companies, and public institutions operating across borders. We help people work better across cultural difference, not by teaching language, but by addressing the deeper communication, expectation, and decision making gaps that cause friction, underperformance, and mistrust.

We are a small, early stage company with paying clients across Asia, particularly Korea, and growing interest from Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. Our work is human, theory grounded, and practical. We do not sell things people do not need.

B2B Account Lead

Role Description

We are looking for a B2B Account Lead to own and grow a small number of high trust client and partner relationships. This role sits between Hunter Global’s core work and the organisations we serve. This is not a traditional sales role. It is an account ownership and relationship role. You will be responsible for ensuring partners understand our value, feel supported once they engage with us, and experience Hunter Global as clear, credible, and reliable. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys translating complex work into language others can act on, managing relationships end to end, and working closely with a founder in an early stage environment.

What you will do

• Develop a deep understanding of Hunter Global’s services, positioning, and point of view
• Act as a primary point of contact for a defined set of B2B clients or partners
• Support onboarding of new organisations so expectations, scope, and ways of working are clear
• Participate in early conversations with potential partners to help frame Hunter Global’s work clearly and credibly
• Support ongoing relationships to ensure continuity, trust, and alignment
• Identify opportunities to deepen or extend existing partnerships where there is genuine need
• Provide feedback from the market on how our work is landing and where friction or misunderstanding arises

What you will not be doing

• High volume outbound sales
• Cold calling or quota driven activity
• Pure content creation
• Owning delivery of coaching or facilitation work
• Acting as a general assistant or catch all role

Who this role is for

Experience

• 2 to 5 years experience in account management, partnerships, community, client services, or similar
• Experience working across cultures or internationally is a strong advantage
• Japanese language capability is a strong advantage but not required
• Comfort working in English is required

Working model and compensation

Hunter Global is an early stage company. This role includes a modest monthly base compensation with additional upside linked to revenue from accounts you support and grow. Final structure is agreed transparently in advance. This is a remote role with flexible location and hours, focused on outcomes rather than presence.
